Guitarist Hanno Busch and percussionist/vocalist Arto Tuncboyaciyan were our dream guests for this album and both enriched our music in a unique way. Both are in a class of their own as instrumentalists and composers:

Over the course of his long career, Arto has found his own very unique approach to percussion. In the intro to the first track “Turquoise”, e.g. he spontaneously creates a soundscape processing percussion instruments and his voice with an electronic effect device. The result is a mesmerizing sound that significantly shapes this album. Hanno’s rock influenced guitar sound was a welcome addition and does the rest.

Arto and keyboarder / pianist Karen Asatrian, both of Armenian origin, give this album it’s very unique flavor – by no coincidence symbolized by the pomegranate representing life (and music) in all its facets.
